Additional Tim McGraw - Greatest Hits Information
|
With a sad tenor that sounded like Mr. Haney from Green Acres, Tim McGraw, a freshman in country's crowded class of '92, seemed the least likely to graduate to superstardom. But eight years and 20 million albums and singles later, here he is with a greatest hits package so stuffed with songs--15 in all--that it doesn't have room for any new tunes, or even the best of all, "Everywhere." McGraw's appeal is two-fold: Aside from his unlistenable duets with wife Faith Hill and the abysmal "Indian Outlaw" that jump-started his career, he's had excellent taste in songs. And he's the epitome of the average guy in search of extraordinary love--the loser who becomes a winner. You see it all here, in the hate-it-but-love-it "Don't Take the Girl," the adrenaline rush of "Something Like That," and the infectious "I Like It, I Love It." If this album doesn't give hope to every karaoke singer in America, nothing will. --Alanna Nash

What Customers Say About Tim McGraw - Greatest Hits:

i knew every song on the CD. i also got his other two greatest hits, but this is my favorite by far. This is a GREATEST HITS CD. i love Tim McGraw's music.
Tim McGraw is one of the big names in modern/pop country music. There are some real great tunes on here, "where the green grass grows", "I like it I love It" (nice uptempo tune), and one of my favorites, "My Next Thirty Years."
McGraw is one of those singers who has just enough country to be a star in the genre with the songs and talent to appeal to those who are not big on country music. "Something Like That," "I Like it I Love it," are two songs that are catchy, fun, and high energy.
The first song played and I was very happy until the second song started and skipped threw the whole song, so I skipped it to track four and it was scratched there as well. When I received the cd, it was severely scratched. I ended up throwing the cd away.
Now I never liked country till I heard Garth Brooks "The Thunder Rolls" song and I thought that was amazing till I heard this album from Tim McGraw.he blew my one fave country song to smitherines with an awesome display of what country should be.now I will not claim to be a huge country music fan nor pretend I know whats hot or not.but this album takes you everywhere on the emotional map.
